We would all be berating Lampard for rushing him back if he got an injury coming off the bench against Wolves and lose him for a month. Probably medical advice. Time will tell.

Well, the point is it feels like he's rushing him back today.

If he wasn't deemed fit for the squad Vs Wolves on Monday after such a long break, it seems odd then that he's starting today.

We aren't getting anything today so it feels a strange risk to me.

He can’t win with some of them on here, people whinging about the state of the bench when it’s all we have, what else can he do, I would’ve liked to have seen Cannon on there though.

I suppose he knows DCL's fitness best, although I didn't expect him to play as it's a free hit today, Brighton & Saints absolute must-wins. Would have thought keeping DCL fit for those two would have been the plan. Certainly wont be doing himself any favours in the post-match if the No9 goes off injured again.
