Prem Goals Scored 22/23

Everton: 13
Haaland: 20
That stat is shocking every time it appears, each time with the gap widening. But then I remember that Rondon would have probably tapped 15 in for City by now, and it’s no longer relevant.

Plus we allegedly nearly signed Haaland when he was 2 so it’s sort of like he’s our player anyway. I wish him well.

We have very little quality and an inexperienced young manager. We also have numerous injuries to key players. We only stayed up last season by dint of the fact that we fans got behind the players every second of those final six home matches. That’s why we were beating the likes of Chelsea at Goodison; we didn’t get those wins thanks to talent or tactical acumen.

Frankly playing the champions away could result in a cricket score.

That’s someone who watched city when they were [Poor language removed] and still scarred. I would be the same if we were city’s level or ever did become that good. Everton have mentally broke me for nearly 30 years of going the match.
Having watched City from 74 i know what pain feels like pal. At least you haven't seen Wycombe Wanderers beat you home and away in the old third division, that's effin pain!. Being maxed up on Diazepam wouldn't have eased the pain I've suffered before we were formed in 2008. I can't forget that suffering either, neither can most City fans who were there.

Any 'holier than thou's' who wouldn't (didn't eh Bill) have take the same deal are just kidding themselves

Gawd, imagine how bad this is going to be. Been turned over by almost everyone and only won 3 all season. These could end up literally walking the ball into the net. Only thing we can hope for is that City have an off day and don't do too much damage.

I haven't watched Everton much this season but you need points and that's why I'm not taking a win for granted.
We're possibly turning into that shambles of a club you were.
And look how long it took you to get were you are, after the false starts.
You've had some shockers.
That game v Gillingham, I often feel the nation ,apart from Salford, thought yous have suffered enough and smiled when you fell over the line.

City will destroy Everton, that is all we need to know lol, Lampard will say something in the P/C like we are not going there just to defend even though we know we will, and we will be lucky to probably get 5 shots the whole game

I've been thinking that's the way we should go in general. Stop trying to play football and just fill the team with giants. It's the only realistic option remaining.
Yeah worth a try until we sign some players who can pass the ball forward for a change
