A turd Lampard side managed to draw against them last season, so I don't think a 'respectful loss' is the best that we can hope for. It will be hard, and it may even be unlikely, but it won't shock the world if we manage to pick up some points.

It's not, but at the same time going out to play for a 0:0 against City has worked for almost no one ever since Pep's taken over, so I can see how if we do that it'll more likely be a few to them.

That said, it'll be one of the rare cases and we'll shithouse a 0:1 win.

City are clicking into gear just at the right time with fully fit squad, to be honest I’m just glad we’ve got them out the way home and away in February. I expect the same level of commitment and spirit that we’ve shown most of the season, but we’re not in the same league as these and will probably lose, just got to try and keep the score down as can’t have the goal difference taking a battering.
