Manchester City's Sham Trial

Apparently it's now sat with the three 'independent' officials/whatever who have all of the information and will determine their guilt or innocence, alongside any punishment that goes along with it.

I'll go for 25 point deduction and £150m fine, which of course would mean absolutely nothing apart from simply missing out on Europe for a single season.

How many different seasons have their breaches covered? If it's 6 (I don't know) then why not 10 points for each season reduced to 8 points per season on appeal so 48 points? Then a fine equivalent to the money they made from where they finished in the PL to where they would have done if each 10 (8) point deduction had been applied at the time.

That would satisfy a sporting sanction and they could then be fined accordingly for any of the dodgy commercial or administrative deals they are being investigated for.

Meanwhile, in Narnia today...

Disgraceful how they've been allowed to continue their relentless spending with this hanging over them. Should have been done and dusted well ahead of any transfer window. £200m in 4 weeks isn't it now?
ManCity in the January transfer window:
Omar Marmoush: €75M
Abdukodir Khusanov: €40M
Nico Gonzalez: €60M
Vitor Reis: €35M
Juma Bah: €6M

Absolute jokers

It’s not really pal, look at their revenues they are absolutely minted - they are playing the rules very very cleverly,

I'm coming at it more from the angle at this should not have been allowed to drag on so long while they continue spending like it's going out of fashion despite being many charges hanging over them for spending money gained via questionable sources at best. And then the inevitable outcome will occur.. ☹️

I agree - I feel like the club clearly already know the outcome, if he very surprised if the UK Gov are happy to know we’re about to relegate/impose what are effectively sanctions against their little royal babies of the UAE here.
