I couldn't watch the Arsenal game but my impression of what I've read made it sound that way. Hopefully it is the new normal and not an exception.

This is the sort of typical game that we play well, maybe go a goal up have a few more half chances then Utd come back into it and get a penalty with 5 mins to go, then grab another in injury time.
We come away thinking we were robbed played well but still got beat 3-1.

Typical Everton, we have to start winning at places like this to be a top team, I am sick of us being nearly men
