Expect to lose but a good performance and at least a point on the board changes the optimism for the season.

United man for man are far better than we are, so many players can punish us compared to defensive palace or crap Fulham. If we score first however it will be a completely different game.

That isn't true though. Off the top of my head

De gea
Baily
Matic
Sanchez
Lukaku
Martial
Pogba

Would all walk into our team no question. I would argue to some extent Mata is better than sigg and Barnard at this level as well. Such a consistent player and still under rated.

Point is, if they signed for us today they would go straight into our first team.
