Blaming refs makes us sound desperate. We played really well in patches but certain players gave the ball away at vital times when we had half the team pushing forward. Also missed a sitter which would have given plenty of time to get back into the game.
We are improving weekly but need to get away from spending days after a game still blaming officials .
I was gutted yesterday but today taking the positives . Trust the manager is leading us in right direction but hope he can see if players are not performing then there us depth there to replace them.

Difficult to disagree with any of that mate, however, that decision for the penalty was atrocious as was the dive, and it’s really bad episodes like that which make you question the integrity of the game.

I thought Digne had a poor game last week and got murdered for saying so. This week he was even worse. His dead ball stuff is nothing
special, his crossing in the main is poor. That last ditch corner, was a McFadden special....never reached the near post....disgraceful.
Plays well at left back, but is that enough these days?

Off the subject slightly, I thought there was a directive from the premier league to prevent holding down players in the box I can think of. 2 blatant ones this season Tosun at Bournemouth and Richarlison adainst Palace . When you consider them against the fouls conceded for pens against us in those games along with a lot of other calls I think there is a agenda I’m sorry.

yes, but I'd contend the quality of a lot of the reckonings proffered in here are a bit spotty.

..so encouraged we finally brought a Rolls Royce CB into the team, Zouma looking the part.

Zouma , Pickford Gomes and a top quality CF and we will have a spine to build around
Gomes and Zouma will cost 50+ m to sign permanently so while we need a CF , RB and RW I’m hoping any spare cash is thrown at a CF and Henry gets a work permit to take his place on the RW
RB I’d like a right footed version of Digne for 23/25 m as Wan Bissaka will cost major money

I know pal. Think we will be having to beat 12 men and the media when we play a top six side. Hopefully makes us even stronger. I cringe when my blue mates keep dragging up the injustice's as just gives them lot an opportunity to rub it in .
