Agree.... it’s Duncan , Marco Silva, Carlo Ancelotti or your local Sunday league manager. If you don’t put effort in as a bare minimum you shouldn’t be on the field.
You can have an off game by all means, but you should be able to run, get into a position to effect the game, and make a nuisance of yourself. If you can’t then you should be brought off and expect to be brought off - no matter how long you’ve been on the field.

I fully agree and support that decision.

I don't know if it's already been mentioned but Niasse, what he lacks in skill he makes up for with endeavour and he ran his socks off and worked hard when he came on.

Bringing a striker on at that stage showed we were not going to sit back and soak up pressure for the last 15 minutes.

Moyes invariably brought a defender on for an attacker in those situations and as often as not we conceded.

Correct, we are four points above the drop zone. This is the reason why I cannot understand why Silva was given the Liverpool and Man City games. We play 442 and more direct against them with man marking and who knows how those games would have finished.

I'd of fancied us to get something out of the rs game if he'd been canned after Leicester.

Tell me the last time a Klopp or Guardiola player came on and didn't work for the team - they have had time to instil that standard in their teams over a few seasons. They would know who wasn't willing to follow instructions / work for the teams and they wouldn't get in the squad.

agreed hadn't thought about him playing there before but that was no fluke , he has the attributes to play that position and has that bit of snide about him , who would you want in there holgate or schneiderlin ?

Well said. Kean has a big name, big mouth agent. If Dunc is still in charge, every agent with promising players as clients will shun Everton.
Brands won't be happy with this. The squad will be unhappy over this as well.

I'm beginning to think Brands is being isolated a little at Everton.
