I gave it to Mason ,out of position and played really well but it could have been Tom Davies for his self-control ( when we had no one else-no more midfielders) on the bench and if you push me I could have given it to Duncan Ferguson for showing that to play for this team you need to earn it ,even if half are injured or got the sh!ts.Well done Dunc .COYB

I loved the sub, BTW.

Bringing a striker on at that stage showed we were not going to sit back and soak up pressure for the last 15 minutes.

Moyes invariably brought a defender on for an attacker in those situations and as often as not we conceded.

Inappropriate Language
He's looked unfit since he arrived, because he's a 19-yr-old with no PL experience. It takes a lot to get up to speed.

There was no need for the change, Zat. None.

To be fair though the manager is the boss. If he's not happy, it's his call. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes, so I can't say for sure either way.

Trouble is these days is that if players don't like a manager they use the passive aggressive approach. I can definitely imagine there are players in that team right now who want him gone.

If that is what Duncan suspected he was doing then I don't blame him, cause that sort of thing will ruin us...

But lets get behind him, because between Duncan and Keane, I can tell you which of the two, give more of a sh*t about Everton football club.

Delighted with the result but there’s a lot of outcome bias in this thread. We probably should have lost the game and didn’t create a single decent scoring chance. We had injuries etc and did what we could given personnel — Dunc needs praise for coming up with two good strategies — but it’s clear that we’ve had the rub of the green in the last two games. Yes, i know we didn’t get much in the Silva but of the season and some of it comes from working harder. But it won’t last forever and we still need to fix the big medium term issue.

Don't entirely disagree but the difference in spirit, effort is palpable - and that's with five midfielders out.
