On mufc watchalong, even de Gea's long lost brother thought the first goal was his fault.

It’s bizarre that an offside call goes down to a millimetre and a penalty incident is looked at a million times, but the amount of time played is a complete mystery to all.

We played 6 minutes of added time when hanging on v Arsenal and Chelsea - yet nothing of note had delayed the game.
I watched Newcastle yesterday - 4 second half subs, lots of time wasting and Schar getting stretchered off taking forever - 6 minutes added.

If the game is close, they'll give more time. It's all for the spectacle and nothing to do with the rules of the game.

Well that was a rollercoaster...
Absolutely dreadful first half and hard to watch, even so we had a couple of chances.
Second half was superb and we didn’t deserve to lose the third goal.
DCL said post match that the intention was to start the second half the same formation but get the ball forward more. He said Carlo changed tactics very quickly into it.
Didn’t recognise what the change was but clearly Don Carlo showed his expertise..
Nerves were shredded but what an ending, especially since i think a defeat would have been harsh.

It’s interesting that Davies, Doucoure and Gomes scored so highly in the poll when we struggled so much with possession.

i felt we were over run at times yesterday and for large parts had no control.

We are usually able to defend well and when we put our collective will to it, we can attack well, but we can’t control a game. This is where we really need to improve.
