It’s one of those where if the referee gives it, it isn’t going to be overturned.

If the ref doesn’t give it, VAR wouldn’t step in as it’s not an obvious error.

Not a “stone wall” penalty as they say, but a tight call. I would want that given for us. Clumsy from Godfrey.

A solid, battling performance, with some good passages of play, but we still have no composure in the final third. It gets too frantic as soon as we get near the opposition goal. They just need to calm down a bit and stop panicking.

Godfrey never compained and put the ball on the spot for them. As an amateur player i disputed everything....in a big way.

Well, despite Iwobi facing the rest of the season out, the terrible start, lack of composure in midfield, Anthony Gordon being a wimp and Ben Godfrey being crap... I thought that was quite encouraging.

Nobody will miss Iwobi. He has already scored his goal this season.
