Playing Maupay ultimately means that we can't go long, which means no release of pressure like there was at times v Man City.

Dom was never starting - and it's right, no point running him into the ground - but give Simms an hour. He's more like Dom than Maupay.

He can't afford a pasting, regardless of the opposition and tournament. While the league has to be the priority, the argument is a good cup run can help the team.

I think he has made a mistake leaving Simms on the bench. He might be inexperienced but has been scoring plenty of goals whereas Maupay is the complete opposite. Put them both on if you insist on having Maupay on but leaving him on the bench when we haven't got a goal scorer on is insane to me. United have got goals in them whereas we have conceded 28 goals in 20 games in all competitions and only scored half that amount.
