sooooo predictable. Some awesome defending from the lads - Distins flap was the one dodgy moment and sadly we got punished.

We offered nothing going forward. Anichebe lacks desire, at least Beckford ran about and tried.

We were fecking robbed there. Yes, we were second best all game but we should have had two bloody penalties. If they're allowed to just foul our strikers every time they get clear then what's the bloody point?

Come on mate, that's just silly. The Beckford/Evans situation certainly wasn't a penalty. United deserved the win, they outplayed us.

You'd imagine that he's had enough bollockings about it before now. So why does he keep doing it?

It's just judgement and knowing what's around you, I'd imagine it's very difficult to coach into or out of someone. Yobo had a touch of it as well, but Distin is worse for it in my opinion. That's why he's never got to a high level, imagine making a mistake like that in a big international.

A disgusting lack of ambition in the second half there.

I don't care about being resilient and having commentators patting our head, we'd rode that first half and were coming into it in the second when our players all took about ten steps back when there was no reason to. We invited United onto us and we all know what happens when you do that.

United were the better team and deserved to win so the result is a fair one but we should have done much better.

Same old, same old.

Ah well. Optimistic for a point to be honest.

Ref was a massive massive tit. Bilya just put himself up for sale. Anichebe might as well hang his boots too.

Jags MOM, distribution aside. Distin played very well marred by the annual panic that led to the goal.

If there was a winner it would've never been us...and with the amount of peppering they gave Howard and the defence, it was only a matter of time before they scored.

Baines had a horrid time against Valencia too.

Not the type of effort we want to see. First half was a masterclass in surrender, second half hardly much better.

What a cowardly performance.
