Thought we did OK in parts. Knew the goal was coming though. Also knew we´d never get that pen we had a few shouts but the one on Anichebe was nailed on for me .Who to my suprise I thought did quite well .
 
I also thought we did ok. We defended very well, and their goal was offside. The fact that the ref refused to even acknowledge our two legitimate penalty claims means we can count ourselves a little unlucky to have not got something from the game.

I guess the ref was afraid to upset fergie and so didn't want to give decisions against man utd.

Come on Shalke!
 
Watched the game in Portugal after getting drenched walking to the Albufeira Strip (had hailstones like marbles last Thursday!) and I was disappointed to see how easily Bily seemed to get robbed of the ball - he seems such a lightweight!

that wouldve been a soft penalty to get even by LFC standards.

With respect...soft penalty or not, we all know that it would have been given at the other end. A penalty is a penalty however slight the obstruction is from the defending player.
