I hope we stick to the same team and formation we've recently been playing, i don't want to see Cahill walk back in to the starting 11 and mess up the balance. Yes as a late sub thats ok but not starting.
I just hope we don't go out there and be defensive from the start and let Utd come on to us in waves. We shouldn't go out there looking to defend and then nab a late winner, it's asking for trouble, we should go out there and play our game and go for a big win. Not many teams attack utd, and personally i don't rate their team that much, putting decent through balls for Beckford will cause problems coz of his pace. If we play a good game with no hoofing, we have every chance to beat them.

Please Moyes don't go too defensive and don't make stupid late subs lol. I've got money on this one!

Its all about us not going there and showing them too much respect, i know there home form is consistent but they are far from convincing league leaders and i believe they are there to be got at. Lets have a go, we have nothing to lose, and if even 1 of their players have 1 eye on tuesday night in schalke then we have to be ready to take advantage of that. I firmly believe we will get chances, but can we take them? Jermaine has good memories here of scoring for leeds last year, so get a good night sleep becks, i think your gonna have a couple of sights of goal in the morning.

ps. noted what Nev says about United not playing well. Only by your standards mate. Looks ok to me. Good win in the Youth Cup SF probably means one or two more coming off the conveyor belt. Bloody depressing really.

Its gotta be good bringing youth through though mate surely in todays cheque book culture

Was there that night with a good mate who is a Red. Can't say that the Frenchman is the most popular fellow at Selhurst, to this day, but that is much more to do with what happened pre the semi final later that season. However, the imbecile that got clobbered by your boy is more unpopular with most Palace fans. He was in Court again recently for assaulting the manager of his lads U10 team for not picking his son. Needless to say the headlines were all to do with him being a Palace fan.

I just think that the low lifes of this world think they can abuse players as much as they want from the safety of their seats and then one got his come uppance brilliant

United will be smarting somewhat from being dumped out of the FA Cup semi final by the bad scruffs they share a city with. Deserved too, once City clicked in gear they had United on the back foot. You'd guess they'll be a different proposition at Old Trafford on the back of that result and chasing a historic 19th league title.

Rooney returns from his two match ban for being a bit of a prick and kicking off at a cameraman. He's been in good form lately so will have to be watched closely. Nani, who looks like a Pontins Michael Jackson tribute, has trouble staying on his feet but really makes them tick this season. He's a huge creative influence and Hibbert will need to be at his annoying best to contain him.

There may be an enforced change this week with Heitinga's hamstring seemingly going. I thought Rodwell done well and used the ball well when he came on so he's likely to start. The only other changes may be on the flanks. Arteta is expected to be fit for this game and Coleman will have a week's training under him. They importantly have a bit more snide in their tackle which will come in useful in the wide areas at Old Trafford. It's often levelled that Osman fails to show in the big games (although he was excellent in some big games last year), we'll need him continuing his recent form for this.

Not so long ago this fixture would have been as welcome as two men necking in a Soho pub. There's permutations of Europe flying around everywhere with City in the FA Cup Final and allegations of Birmingham's financial position being dire. Sack that and keep up doing what were doing, just one game at a time blues.
