It is, and it's hilarious, but "OMG DID YOU SEE HOW THEY TREAT FERGIE????" is such a weird sentiment from fans of other teams, especially teams like us who they've headpatted/belittled for years and still try to.

No idea why anyone would care about that specifically.

Haha. The fellers are owned billionaires and Alex is a multi millionaire, he won’t be signing on anytime soon and he’s about 90005 years old, it’s the calamity of signing they should be negotiating to pay off, not this fella.

I heard earlier that he's reducing involvement in a variety of roles outside of this ambassador position within the next few months too. Given he's about to turn 83, I can see why. What is anyone of that age going to do with an extra 2M a year. Like I know his wife died a year or two ago, but he's not developing an addiction to brasses with his age and notoriety. Although, who knows.. maybe the corrupting influence of Rooney has done damage nobody could conceive of.

So.. ultimately its probably going to make zero to little impact financial or sporting wise. So I'm really struggling to care.
 
They were paying Fergie to do what exactly? It’s hilarious. These are exactly the type of people they should be cutting costs with. They don’t need the money and they are dead weight. First decent decision they have made in a long time. We should have cut out these theatrics as well before our club ended up the way it is now. Kind of hits close to home.
