Manchester United

In our instant 24/7 society it seems instant results are the the end game so winning is top losing is the end , regarding United i keep saying we have no divine right to win anything if you dont get a top manager and time so then you are done for , i can see like villa , spurs , brighton etc are better than us at this time , so yes we have a lot of cash but we have not been good enough this is true , but i think no dont cry about it be humble and think well we have had some fantastic highs but we are now in not such a good place , we still tremendous loyal support especially on our travels , keep with your team and have love for them in your heart like the kid that went to Old Trafford for the first time about 8 years old , what goes around comes around but i still despise the glazers they are evil greedy no good merchants stay proud and think 20 is not too bad
I think that the Glazers are doing a fine job at United. If they can give a few pointers to their mate at Liverpool then they would go even further up in my estimation.

Heheheheh.
In the Athletic so struggling to link it, but apparently Ineos / Utd have now cut Fergies ambassador contract 😂🤭
Apparently he was still on the payroll.
I'm not surprised tbh, there have been suggestions for a while now that he is still hovering about in the background sticking his two pence worth in and it's a huge part of their problems.

Ineos have sacked sir alex from his multi million pound ambassador role
Hard to fathom how any work he’s doing for them is worth multi millions as the story says, but I guess it could be image rights and all that sort of stuff still.
Imagine he’s a big draw in the far east etc when they’re doing stuff over there.
I imagine Sir Grim Rat-cliffe will be able to step in and use his walnut like grill to fill in.

He was paid handsomely as their manager and was on over £2million a year as an ambassador (I.e. swanning around having a great time), time for the gravy train to come to an end……
It’s the same sort of penny pinching approach you would expect of the old Celtic board that shoved Stein out the door. For a club that size he was on small money.

Paying Fergie in excess of 2m might be considered excessive, but this was Manchester United - "the biggest club in the world" TM - a club that he personally built. I'm not saying he was worth that money, I am saying that the symbolism of them cutting him out is telling. This is no longer the great club of huge financial resource and, in fairness, good financial management. Brexit Jim is rolling out his policy of austerity, and neither kitchen ladies nor all-time great knights of the realm are immune.

Not content with gaslighting cycling, these chancers are destroying any semblance of soul in that club.
