I think he just want to play football and enjoy his time flaunting his skill on the pitch. Unfortunately once a CL team comes for him there's only one choice, I don't blame him at all. Pity Valente didn't brainwash him to stay.
 
What an asshole, I can't believe that was his comment on it. I hope all you season ticket holders give him some stick if he ever returns to the stadium in another shirt.

and i'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts this is mostly because of his agent spewing crap in his ears

Sorry, not buying this. The FA have this little rule about 3rd parties involved in players. They have taken their time on this, which has allowed Valencia, who play in Spain, who have no such restrictions on 3rd party influence, to come in and take him form our noses.
 
I actually agree with that.

Valencia was basically allowed to come in and snap him up while we were made to wait by the FA for "approval."

I can't tell you how mad I am at the FA right now. I wonder what their spin on this little screw up is gonna be.

We should at least make a statement or something about how the premier league need to sort their [Poor language removed] out because it prevents brilliant players like this from playing in the country.

btw, i somehow triple posted over the space of 5minutes lol.
 
Probably just as well as I would have gotten Manny and Pienaar confused on the pitch due to similar hairstyles...

i'm not sure that anyone knew what was happening with our deal. but fair enough...

i wrote in another thread - in his photo with the valencia jersey he looks completely uninterested as if he got talked into the whole thing.
