He also gave the ball away the most.....2nd spell he looked disinterested for most of the time, and looking at him I believe he's a genuinely skilfull but lazy player, and is not a Moysey type of player. (The lazy bit not the skilfull bit) so I dont think there's any mileage in this.

I watched him play Madrid for Valencia last year, and I couldn't believe how good he was playing. I've never seen someone keep the ball and hold off players like that for a long time.....we didn't get too many glimpses of that apart from that one game when he took on Arsenal, literally everyone who's ever even played for Arsenal in the space of about 10 seconds.....scored a ripper against Man Utd too, but I recall Moyes almost blaming him for us actually going on and losing that game

I think there is an unbelievably talented player here, just seemed to always be thinking of his next move (ie Valencia) when we had him.

Perhaps he'll know think, he should have joined Everton and stuck it out

I'd even pay 8m or so for him, not just a loan
