We'll have him (or someone) signed by sometime next week I feel. Transfer window is defo open and we never really throw out our "we've signed/gonna sign him" before then like your Deco's going to Chelski etc. Valencia are quiet, so are we, and nobodies heard anything for any other team wanting some of Manny.
The stadium thing will probably give Moyes the push for his "plan A" tranfers (ie I can buy the players I wanted from the kick off) if it goes ahead, and probably "plan B" if it gets called in (ie I can buy the odd player I really want, then settle for my second choices if possible).

Hopefully we do get him in early. If he gets a full pre-season under his belt and does the whole team bonding thing he'll be ready to go next season. He also feel part of the family which could give him some stability. Moyes did say Manny is a player who needs a bit of love.
