Haven't seen that posted for a while. Horrendous summer of signings, another January no show, ignored over Silva's dismissal and ignored on the appointment of Ancelotti saw him in a wheelie bin up that alley.

Amazing what a puff piece on Sky can do for someone's image.
He's had some capital in the bank from his first summer here. But he's spent that, and then some.Image is everything...up to a point. It's still a difficult job, considering what's come before. Some leeway should be afforded, IMO. Silk purses and sows ears, etc.

He needs to really pull his finger out, starting by ditching his absurdly and muddle headed method to buy cast offs from big clubs. It might work in the Dutch league, but it's been found out here.
In any case, I'd be happier if he stood aside and let Ancelotti phone around his contacts to sort his own players out. Brands could make himself useful doing what he apprarently does best: pastoral care - meet and greet the family of players signed and making sure their sons are well looked after, that sort of thing.

What are his credentials though? And, will those credentials clash with Carlo Ancelotti, and furthermore, who will win that battle, AND you have factor in Farhad Moshiris wishes? Does he want forever mid table mediocrity while he has is the majority shareholder OR does he want to reach for the stars and take us to the promised land? There'll be no quick fixes, you know that. If ALL (putting it all on his head is a bit absurd) of them can get us stable around 4-6th, and I'll certainly take better than that, by the time we're dockside then that's a damn good achievement in a relatively short time. It'll have been aided by the recent fall of some other clubs but that's not our problem and their gain to take advantage of...that's what I'm watching for.

Which ones has he worked with before?Considering Ancelotti has worked successfully with DoFs in the past, that shouldn’t be an issue
...Delp, Iwobi, Gomes, Mina. That's enough of a chunk of his signings.Who are your perceived failed cast offs from big clubs? Delph sure, you’ll probably say Iwobi but far too early to tell under Carlo. Who else?
