Reduce wage bill - hopefully means getting rid of some of the high earners not equalling what they are paid
Austerity Everton.

Smart Everton mate until we get to the new stadium with better commercial deals in place.
Yes but we are not in the Dutch league so you assume they have/need the same skills for PL, not sure about that but we shall see.He hired managers suited to the teams he had.
Managers he hired win the league for his club.
Koeman the only blot on his record
Not unless you love Dutch football lolhttps://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo.../managers-marcel-brands-hired-before-14690054
I wouldn't say that was a great record.
Well I have no problem with cutting a squad to a more viable number all competing for places. However, it sounds like the club are intent on cutting the total wage bill and rolling it back at a time when the direction at other clubs will continue in the opposite direction and they'll attract the better players rather than us.Or just a smart move....? Plenty on our wage bill who aren't living up-to their pay packets.
Hired Koeman and then sacked him after 16 games. Why didn't we think of that?!Not unless you love Dutch football lol
Cut to the bone and probably fall down the table. That cant be smart.Smart Everton mate until we get to the new stadium with better commercial deals in place.
That's a BS phrase used in the world outside football for forcing people to live in penury.Would be very happy to see us live within our means

What we're seeing is the post-Koeman cleaning up exercise. It must be done though whilst giving us a fighting chance on the pitch. Moshiri's choice of manager has ruined this club for a decade. I hope people dont forget that when they see us failing to compete this summer for the players we need.

Is that what we want an Everton manager to deal with? Coming in and having to cut back to the bare bones and expect them to compete?
Writing on the wall here lads.
We're rubbish with money.Would be very happy to see us live within our means
I think we do. Whether it works or not, time will tell. Throwing money at anything and everything clearly never worked last season.Do we finally have a long term plan ?
