Big summer, needs to buy some good players, hopefully having Ancelotti will allow us to get main targets this summer, which we failed at last summer.
Havnt been on here for mo TVs but seems Brands has gone from “The Messiah” to “Clueless Biff” in that time

He's neither atm, he's done an understated job with outgoings that gets overlooked, i wasn't happy with some of the sales, but those players we sold have all been flops, so it was very good business so far.

I understand people slating him for the signings because none have really worked out yet, but there has been a combination of bad luck and players not living up to their potential, I mean kean was an absolute masterstroke, we were all buzzing and it hasn't happened... Yet.
Hopefully things take a turn for the better but at least we're being linked with the right sort of players atm.

Kean's only a masterstroke if he comes good/we sell him at a profit. It's not a masterstroke to sign someone just because the fans are happy with it at the time, otherwise most of Walsh's signings would be masterstrokes aswell.

I agree with most of this, but I totally dispute that last element.

I don't know, generally speaking people were happy with the likes of Klaassen, Sandro, Pickford and Keane I think. And Williams for sure, loads of people said he was exactly what we needed.

He was one of highest rated young players the world, of course it was a masterstroke to get him here.

That's not really how it works mate. If he scores 1 goal in 2 seasons and gets loaned out for the next three years of his deal you can't call it a masterstroke. I mean come on, this is basics.

Depends on the DoF, he had Brands in place when he joined,as for other clubs,were they there already or did he have any input into their appointments?

Nothing is adding up at the moment, we can’t afford any significant money on transfers unless we sell someone or Moshiri injects serious cash but would risk of being non complaint.

I know Ancelotti May have agreed to a limited budget but he’s not come here to work with this current squad a shoestring budget.

We made loses of 112m last accounts.

We have lost quite considerable sums of money during this pandemic and will probably continue to lose more next season.

Im sure Carlo understands.

Cant see many clubs having a lot to spend in this climate.
