....surprised to read Brands is now entering the final 12 months of his own contract. One way or the other, both parties need to address that situation as it creates a little uncertainty.

...I doubt it. The DoF has to be accountable for football strategy so I imagine whoever is in that role will be on the Board.

Well you dont want a DOF. Ancelotti has repeatedly stated he needs a DOF.

So if Brands is punted that wont exactly thrill Ancelotti and would limit his ability to do his job.
