We have been patient for a lot now, considering we have had Martinez, Koeman, Unsy, and Allardyce all in the span of a few years. The more we wait the more our younger players are going to want to leave (Lookman being one of them)

Not if you combine it with your plan to trim the squad. We already pay some of our players more than that. If we trim the squad we could still pay the wages we do now or even allow for wage inflation in a smaller squad!
