All will depend on if we can sell some of the above imo. If we could offload Bernard, Lossl & Kenny I imagine that would give us the greenlight to bring in their respective replacements.

I can't see Walcott, Delph or Davies fetching over £10m each.

I reckon you'd get £2-3m Delph (if that), Walcott 5m? (I'd keep Walcott, i think he can be a handful), Davies has youth on his side... £8m.

I can't see Walcott, Delph or Davies fetching over £10m each.

I reckon you'd get £2-3m Delph (if that), Walcott 5m? (I'd keep Walcott, i think he can be a handful), Davies has youth on his side... £8m.

Compared to say the real dregs (Besic, Bolasie, Sandro, Pennington, Tosun) those above are for me more easy to offload.

I imagine those bunch we will be stuck with until the bulk of their contracts expire next summer.

I would love us to smash it this season and watch them all quickly back track like the rats they are.

Think we are a left sided wide player and a RB away from really pushing the top 6.

Just hope we dont stop at these 3 and get those 2 positions strengthened.

Davies played ok for England the other night. I'm not his biggest fan but would keep him as a squad player for another year. If no improvement move on. Move the other crap out. I'd want a RB, and a speed merchant up front who can on the wing it centrally. Someone like Saha, Sarr or the Celtic lad might be s cheaper option.

I remember when oasis released ‘what’s the story’. All the press slated it and then it turned out to be absolutely massively.

Then when they released ‘be here now’ the press didn’t want to get caught out again so it got 5 stars across the board even though it was rubbish.

The press aren’t getting caught out again. They got drawn into the original false dawn and it’s easier for them to say itll mess up again.

It’s hipster to say everton have no strategy. when actually we have.

We need a midfield immediately. We go and get specifically what we need.

We have a young side when you look at our stand out players (richarlison, Holgate, DCL, more recently Gordon and branthwaite ), they need experience.

This isn’t scatter gun. This is getting us what we need, making us competitive again while we clear the decks and give our younger members time to develop.

I've been to about 10 Academy games in the last 2 years, and he was at half of them - I even sat next to him twice (well in front of him, but it counts).

But what dies that mean? He could be about as involved in the academy set up as you are from your seat.

Your forgetting one thing - we need a buyer to sell to, and who in their right mind wants some of those players. We might be willing to give some away for very little but personal terms will be hard to agree no doubt.
