Didn’t like the Rooney comment. Thought we were past so called legends jumping on the gravy train.

But I suppose Rooney knows how to win trophies and can teach the kids the art of snide.

Handled the ownership of players question very well. Seems Brands is trusting of the managers thoughts, can only be a good thing - Trust him so much.

It is important to have the big players involved for me. Especially for the youth coming through. German sides do it very well, Bayern particularly.

As long as it benefits the club I’m all for it.

From that interview it was nice o hear Marco say he’s done his research - they were polite as to not indicate wholesale changes but I firmly believe they have got an idea who is going.

The targets - I got the impression they haven’t worked on as much.

Although Marco did say Marcel has got a busy 2 months, which indicates a flurry of ins and outs, which we’ve all suspected.

Just nice to hear them say it.
