Fair shout but I disagree that Lukaku > Richarlison for us especially in his first two seasons.

Martinez did get one thing right though, despite being lucky with the loan he made the right call to make it permanent for a good fee. We needed a striker and he put our whole budget into it.

It’s the one example I hope Brands follows this window, we could use a Lukaku up top.

I'm not particularly trying to elevate Martinez's dealings over Brands. Im saying the latter has not done enough for the adulation.

It's mostly a successful image projection by either him or the club...look at those embarrassing model shots of him. You'd think we'd won silverware and he'd orchestrated it.
