I am still banging the Pedro from fluminense drumStrker in their mid-20s out of one of the European elite leagues would be prohibitive, yes. But there's a whole number of leagues that fall outside La Liga / the Bundesliga / Serie A and the PL.
This, presumably, is why a specialist like Brands is employed...that they have a great range of knoweledge about what's out there. Surley his methodilogy is not that simplistic that he grubs his way through the discarded players from Europe's top clubs? That's just one avenue he should be exploring. I'd really like to know what his scouting regime is all about, because it looks obvious and limited to me so far.
I place him on the Anichebe/Vaughan/Cadamarteri level. No he’s better than that fellow Dave.
He’s far short (currently) of the new Graeme Sharp though.
I place him on the Anichebe/Vaughan/Cadamarteri level.
He makes a nuisance of himself for defenders. There's more to being an Everton player than that. If he's retained as an Everton starter this season it will shatter any notion that we're going forward as a club on the pitch.
Vaughan would have been very decent if not for injuries, Dave.
I’d say he was Vaughan level. Slightly above Cadamarteri.I place him on the Anichebe/Vaughan/Cadamarteri level.

There's nothing there mate. He's is not and never will be a predator. Zero composure, no sense of finding THE most vulnerable position in the box to hurt the opposition.
Let's have him out on loan and / or sold.
