If I were Silva I;d use my first press conference of the season to underline that because of late recruitment we cant expect to see the best of his teams until the autumn...because that's effectively what he s been served up by this slothfulness.

We have been over this a million times, until some of the deadwood is shifted we cant really have a good splurge on new players due to a bloated squad and FFP.
I am genuinely interested as to what YOU think we should do with regard to Sandro, Schneiderlin, Niasse,Tosun, Walcott et al.

Its something a lot of people dont get, the early season patchy form and running on an empty tank after Xmas period, those lulls in form have a material impact and can be put down to late recruitment, lack of preseason and bedding in process of understanding your team mates game and tactics all a thousand cuts to poor results.

Yet somehow its SIlva, lads will be lambasting after not winning in three on the trot and getting knocked out of the cup.

Hes right to rear up if hes going to be the lightening rod.

Silva is bang on the money calling it what it is, hes a football man and needs to keep the administrators congruent to football priorities.
