We dont have bog standard players though, they have ALL shown their talent at 1 point, but El Fraudo mk2 cant get a tune out of them.

We operate in a zone behind the elite teams. A decent manager, given the better spending we have to all our peers beyond the elite, gets us 6th or 7th each season. That's where we;ll end up again.

Two ways to move beyond that:

1/ you spend a lot more money.
2/ you have a DoF who unearths gems each window in enough numbers to make a difference.

Let me know when we have either of those and then we can seriously criticise any manager we have for just finishing 6th/7th..

Not world class. You think the performance against Wolves was world class? It was a game in the balance and we played ok at times and poor at others.

Bottom line: if Jug Head does a great job, we have half a chance of getting out of the best of the rest ghetto. If he doesn't, then dont blame the manager for getting us to a position where we belong.

Both Gomes and Gbamin were injured to be fair.

Not many sides do well without their first choice CM pairing.

Problem we have is the Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson midfield combo.

Considering Gbamin has literally hardly played for us Zat, it's a bit early to call that.

He got one, Mina, but he isn't good enough, really if we're honest we need 2 top quality ones and a replacement for Coleman.
