Who was a bigger disaster signing, Iwobi or Bernard? Because I distinctly remember Brands saying both of them could play as a #10 yet have never shown it.
I'll never understand why people keep falling for this guy's shenanigans, you don't put Bernard on £120k a week or sign Iwobi for £35+ million if you know ball.

King has come out and laid into Ancelotti, calling him a complete liar, so not sure how him failing here has anything to do with Brands personally - both him and Ancelotti must have agreed to sign the lad? Not brand's fault Carlo never picked him.

My issue with Brands is if he had any professional pride he wouldn't have signed the contract, whilst Moshiri/the manager etc won't let him do the DOF role fully and keep interfering in football matters - for me he has become just like the useless, mercenary players we have who are only here for the dollar.
