Delph, a good utility player who can play all across the middle and Left back at a pinch, a major gamble thats backfired due to his questionable injury record and complete lack of hunger, should and could have seen it coming, but for 8million it was possibly worth the risk
Gomes, had a torrid time at Barca, was very up and down before his injury but had some very good games, the injury just made the down games increase
Bernard, a free transfer, bags of talent, just didnt adapt to the league, sold for a profit
Kean, a young highly rated prospect, who probably felt this club was beneath him after playing for Juve, hes right, it is, will be sold with very little loss
Gmblammo suffered 2 very, very serious injuries, 1 of them is so rare it hasnt even got a name

delph was a horror show no matter how and when you look at it. It is a signing that defies what a dof is all about. Iwobi is nuts if u consider his fees. Gomes was a mistake when our midfield was crying out for pace and tenacity. Only Bernard was a risk worth taking but a proper dof, if he done his scouting properly, would have notice he is not a pure winger.

That's not making "a case" for them, it's making an EXCUSE for them.
 
Leave Gbamin out of things, he's back in full training and looks like he will be part of the squad again. His injuries were just crazy and hopefully he is over them. A full pre season will do him good.
