This guy is a joke. Has been since he’s started here. I can’t believe the club extended his contract. He’s taking the urine!! He’s made many bad decisions.
The club and the board are also very poor.
The manager needs to manage and get the players HE wants in. There is no need for a DOF. Sack and get rid
The only positive so far has been the manager and he is despised by a fair proportion of the fan base. Solid start to the season so far though
We appear to be in a right mess

Really wondering what the point of Marcel is when it comes to transfers. Just name him tsar of scouting or assistant to the decision maker or something, or just can him.

I dont want to increase your ire at the situation, but, I think hes on the board or something to

Moshiri seems to be treating Everton like a real life Football Manager.

"Oh I know about football. First things first, I need a Director of Football, that's what all the big clubs do these days".

*Sets his search parameters and finds Walsh and latterly Brands*

"There, that's sorted. Now I'll completely ignore said DOF and make all decisions affecting the management of the team myself".

The deals he has done this summer are probably the easiest ever to get over the line.

Time will tell if the 3 players we have brought in are good, but they must of been the easiest deals ever to negotiate.
Two of them never had a contract and Gray wasn’t getting offers from anyone as big as us.
I could of pulled them deals off
But your comments focused on backing the manager, your disappointed with the players we have signed…..now you saying the deals done so far have been easy…..which is is it?

I don’t know many Everton fans disappointed with who we have signed and the impact they have made, yea we all want more but the transfer window is still open….

As for Gray coming, I think it’s testament to Brands being aware of that release clause and Rafael convincing him to join, before everyone woke up to a bargain being up for grabs.

Townsend turned down a club in Europe to play for us so hardly a slam dunk.

Just because we are not in a head to head with seven other clubs for every player doesn’t mean we are unsuccessful. It’s the opposite

If it weren’t for the Euro’s I think we would of got Denzil, but Milan stepped in with money, European football and let’s be honest an easier playing environment that has less risk than premiership.

So I frankly don’t care how easy a deal is as long as it gets done
