I would make it the clubs point to blank refuse selling any of our top players to them in future should they come calling.

This. There’s zero goodwill from them. We’ve let players go to them at decent market prices for the good of all parties. They’ve sold their dross to us at record prices and then refuse to even let players they don’t need leave on loan to us. Should just make it clear we won’t deal with them until they change this stance.

IMO should be looking at players on the up not down. Talented players wanting to move on to progress like we did with the likes of Cahill , Lescott, Stones etc. There are exceptions of course however I agree we need to stop taking the dross from others. Pickford and Godfrey were the right way forward imo.

Everton is an easy target to show the Premier League is serious about tackling financial miss management, there is every chance that Everton will be used as an example breaking the rules. Hefty fine or points reduction, form prem league. Not to mention that breaking FFP for UFEA may result in a ban from European football, yes I know we are not in Europe but we hope to be, what could be more soul destroying than getting into Europe only to be precluded from playing.
