I would say the top clubs leave it to the footballing men, people who know the game. PSG, City, RS even Arsenal have left it to Edu. Woodward at UTD, absolutely failed at his job

I don’t know any owner that actively buys players, or champions their signings. And this is my point, there should be one man accountable, and if there’s no progress then everyone knows who takes responsibility. It’s not the case with us, because nobody has any idea who does what
Yeah, most do, but not all. Abramovich at Chelsea and Perez at Real Madrid are probably the most prominent elite ones. De Laurentiis at Napoli is well known for it too. Among lower-tier clubs it's even more prevalent.

I entirely agree it's the wrong way to do things. I'm just pointing out that we're not alone.

Mosh isn’t on the board I don’t th

Is he not. My mistake.

In any regard it is three of DBB, Mosh, BK and Grant Ingles I believe.
Incredibly weak.

The players will rid of Rafael soon enough.
Maybe, but personally I do not think so. None of the players are irreplaceable, and many of the player investments have underperformed under several managers. That is part of the explanation for Brands' departure.

It's not like we have Werner, Havertz, etc, in the squad, who are fantastic (but expensive investments) football players, but who the manager does not get to perform. On the contrary, we have a number of mistaken purchases, which the club would like to get off the payroll.

A week a go everyone was calling for Brands head, now it’s been delivered everyone is outraged and looking for someone else to blame. If he was being so u detained to be unable to do his job why would he happily sign a contract to stay?

It's impossible to know whether this is good or bad. As none of us truly know how things have been behind the scenes.

Hopefully this will shake things up and result in an improvement but I'm honestly having my doubts. Brands was the man that seemed to have roots that come more from a modern way of thinking, whereas what we have left is the opposite of that.

Time will tell I guess...

The management can be sacked. The players can't.
No one is going to take our lads on on their wages.

He signed it under a previous managerial regime.

I understand your point, although it is theoretically quite possible to fire players as long as certain conditions are met, and otherwise certain agreements can be reached. However, I think players have very little to say as long as the situation is as it is, and they will get very little sympathy by coming up with such an ultimatum. After all, they have already been on Italian strike for several years.
