Sounds like a wonderful plan to meAnd never be able to sign another player. Sounds like a solid plan.

Is it though? money wise it's good but both those players have done exactly what they do at every previous club they have been at, have a few good games then go off the boil. Very frustrating in terms of Gray as there is obvious ability there but form has always been an issue with him. We’ll probably never know the whole story. It’s clear that Moshiri threw Steve Walsh & Koeman together, which was obviously bound to fail & did. I don’t believe Walsh was responsible for Sigurdssen, Williams, Bolasie, Klaasen, Rooney. Lookman & Vlasic probably yes.
So then he brings in a 2nd DoF and goes out himself & signs Iwobi…..
So that’s 2 DoFs who were undermined & hung out to dry. We can only hope Moshiri has learned from this.
That said, is there any evidence that Brands could have moved us forward given the chance? He says FSW vetoed his deal for Dumfries for £12.5M. He’s only played 5 games for Inter. Forgetting Rondon (I wish we could), Townsend & Gray for £1.7M is fantastic business.
Thanks mate, really appreciate that.Kirkbride is on Talksport now
From my admitedly miniscule knowledge of scouting I reckon the observations that he is CB in the making seem viable. Granted he'd mostly need St Virgins wheelchair but the attributes are there.Means nothing though and none of them moved for him did they? I saw a few of the Mainz games he played in, he is a pretty average steady eddie sort of a player and was never in any way a replacement for Gueye.
Feels like it's all being lined up for a Mourinho or Moyes to come in if Benitez does get the chop. No DoF and complete control would suit both them
It's easy: he's still a carpetbagger who needs pitchforking. Entirely consistent. Why would you have been confused over that? Was it when I restated in the last 2 days that he needs to be run out of the club?I’m sorry Dave, I can’t keep up, is Moshiri still a carpet bagger, or, was it all that ‘Dutch Divvy’s fault?
Don't you think so though looking at what's happening and rumoured to be happeningYes please
