Delph was one of the players he signed. Who everyone in the world knew was an infamous sick note. Can't really use the excuse of injuries if you sign players with shocking fitness records
It’s simple. Good signing = manager, bad signing = brands.
Delph, Gomes, Coleman, Rich, Dom, Iwobi, Tosun, Simms.
He shares responsibility, definitely. But if managers chose not to use youngsters, that’s on them.
Every squad needs a share of youngsters on the bench. We chose not to.
As with Delph - attracts injuries as he ages, again, everyone knows players do that. Yet brands the superstar architect has failed to replace him over the course of about six transfer windows

I think for once the 2 GKs on the bench was a good idea, Pickford has a niggling shoulder injury currently.

I as thinking about las5 season. We weren’t even naming a full subs bench last season. That is on Ancelott. He could have chosen to.
Im perfectly happy with this season. Youngsters ar3 getting a chance.

One thing you'd have to say is that the midfield feels more sorted now. I would say that our persistence in trying to sign Doucoure (and at the right price) is a big plus for Marcel
