Marcelo Bielsa

1 million a month for a manager and his 10 staff is the normal going rate and similar to what Lampard was getting but honestly, who cares about the money side of things though anyway. Worrying about the money wont save us from being relegated. All i want is a decent Manager in before the weekend so he has a full week to prepare and get a couple of signings in. If Marcelo ends up being that guy then so be it, i will get behind him. Every single manager is a gamble with the precarious position we are in.

Gas man, just read a piece on SSN about him, he negotiates a coaching budget - Sky reporting 1 mill a month and then he distributes himself amongst his coaching staff including himself.
Can you imagine how long this is going to take?

Maybe as well appoint an interim because this is dragging on until the summer.

Lampard was on what £400-450k a month , leaving around 500k for his 4 staff , I also assume bielsa would probably have his own fitness staff as well. Doesn’t seem to be much difference to be honest .
105k a week allegedly which puts him around 6th-7th wage wise which is quite laughable really. What on earth had he done to make that money?

Gerrard for example with a similar record, similar history and similar club was on half that. He was chuffed to get the chance to manage us so why pay him so much?

12 mill a year? I wouldn't be surprised if we've been paying that for our last 6 managers and their coaching teams mate, judging by the compo figures.

Yerry Mina is on over 500k a month over a calendar year, Andre Gomes just shy.

Elsewise we cut back on filling in the steak and kidney pies.
Yes, different times we were backed by a big billionaire - we havent got a pot to P in now ....

Sky reporting having someone in place by Friday mate - our approach to this is interesting - last year we had about 3 weeks of interviews, doesn't seem the case or process this year.

If whatever manager is eventually appointed keeps us up, then they deserve all the plaudits.

If that's Dyche - then for me considerations as to style and everything that goes with it are secondary. We've lost that argument for the time being and pragmatism trumps everything else. I don't care in the short- to medium- term what tactics are employed to get results.

If we go down, there is the possibility of another managerial change anyway but you'd assume whomever is hired in the next couple of weeks will want to stay on, come what may. We would have to go down fighting as a minimum for that to happen.

I think Dyche is more likely to keep us up and Bielsa more likely to get us up but whether it's either or none of them in the job, it's up to the eventual appointee to make the job his own and try to put his mark on things. For me, they take the job trying their best to keep us up, but accepting the real possibility, some would say likelihood, of failure in that regard.

Bottom line for me is some stability based on results - anything else won't do. I have little to no interest in how we get them, The School of Science shut its doors a long time ago for it to have any practical meaning. It is welcome to come back when we have the players capable of doing it justice.

Are you new to Everton ?

Surely negotiating a single coaching budget with Bielsa then having him pick staff and distribute it how he sees fit would actually be quicker than negotiating contracts ourselves with each member of staff?

If that happens despite these rather unusual demands, it'll be quite something.

Is the obvious thing simply to get Bielsa and Corberan (spelling?!) from WBA and give them the remainder of the season with the intention that Corberan is then appointed on a full time basis from the summer.

Worked together lots.
