Hadn't Bielsas tactics been found out by everyone in the Prem?
Hence the reason he was sacked by Leeds.
I think he's one of the few coaches that wears his tactics on his sleeve.
Every other coach was well aware of how leeds would play as soon as they came up.
I think the reason he was fired was that he had burnt out the squad.
He doesn't stay anywhere long because he plays high attrition football.

Bielsa would be good but he would need to construct a complete new team. Too many mercenaries, drifters in the squad who have no ambition. They would need to rebuild a new academy and instill a new philosophy in the youngsters. Bring back Billy Kenny!

I definitely agree Leeds being in such a bad state made it easier to give him a free rein. Also both owner and DOF were behind hiring him

I watched your first few championship games under him. Massive transformation from where you were previously
The transformation was remarkable, we took Stoke and Derby apart at the start of his first season comprehensively. None of us knew what to expect but what we saw was thrilling, I adore the man and always will, truthfully i would hate him to manage you, not because it's you but because it's him. I would of cheered and clapped as he took us down. Ridiculous I know.

But the point is he had a full preseason not a week and a bit, can you imagine completely changing systems, playing players who are not fit enough to play that system even if they knew it. Playing players out of position who are at a low ebb, who have forgotten what a win looks like against Arsenal and then Liverpool. But the man is a genius, I don't care how it turned out the process of getting there was beautiful.

Poetic mate. I’m sold.

He may use Arsenal and Liverpool as additional time to get fitness.
Some would say our season starts 18th February against Leeds!

Three weeks or so to get them fit.
