Marcelo Bielsa

If we had a trustworthy stable board owner then Bielsa would t be the answer for me but we don’t so me he is the answer,

With no signings and some proper coaching we would accumulate more points that 3 other teams between now and the end of the season and that’s the goal.

He’s a massive risk but also potentially a massive reward.

If we sacked Lampard before the World Cup like he deserved while the rot just started, Bielsa in Australia would have boxed us off nearly safe by February.

Don't hate Dyche it's sensible but I just don't see where the goals come from under his tactics nevermind the players.

We needed a real chance of mindset and I fear we will get labeled into a tough working team which means teams will play for fouls and get them.

We where supporting the manager and the team whilst getting beat 7-0 at City. I can't think of anything less Kopite.

We've gone from the European cup final, to Div2 (as was), to champions of England, the latter stages of the champions league, then broke, relegated, broke again, Ken Bates buying us for a quid - twice - , Dennis f*cking Wise as manager, relegated again to L1 and starting the season on -15 points, to clawing our way back up to being a lower mid-table championship side. Then we got Bielsa, dominated games, came up, finished in the top half and played the best football I have seen (I've being a Leeds fan through all the above events) with a team of mainly journeymen lower league pro's and a few kids. He gets a pass for a few kamikaze performances against the top sides. As a club, we are about as far away from Liverpool - a club who talks about finishing 7th in the premier as the 'dark years' as you could get. I know Everton fans tend to have that gallows humour trait and like a good moan about how useless the club is etc... (with some justification in fairness) then imagine getting relegated, then relegated again, getting bought by the Moores family and them installing Ian Rush as your manager as you start a season in league one after getting docked -15 points for being skint. Leeds aren't afraid of losing mate, we are more surprised when we win.
Don’t forget to have the only skint Arabs to own us in GFH. A seriously mad owner sacking managers after 2/3 weeks at a time with Cellino.

Everton fans don’t even know you’re born even in the state you’re in compared to the circus we’ve had over the past 20 years

If we play better under him we'll be safe.

It's really not that much we have to do to get safe, as long as we add a couple of goal scorers. So if he came in and we didn't budge then I'm not sure he wont be blamed...in fact I'm certain he will be.

I like the idea of Bielsa, but not with the players we have right now.

I think most people here know these aren’t Bielsa type players, but I think he would at least be able to up the work rate of the squad as a whole.

We have some players with a good work rate, we could possibly get more from fringe players like a Tom Davies or Maupay. Definitely get more from Myko. I think he’d help Doucoure back to his best.

I think with Dyche, he’ll have his preferred team and players not playing so they might not even bother which could affect the team. With Bielsa, I think he’s a little bit more flexible tactically and will change the team around depending on who we’re playing. For example two or three at the back depending on if the opponent is playing one or two strikers.

It's not what the owners want but what Bielsa wants, and he will walk away if he thinks they won't stick to what they say.

You are not 'clearly' getting him, don't count your chickens with this man until he signs and then he will just walk if he thinks it's right he did at one club 2 days after signing.
I know what you’re saying, the final decision rests with Bielsa and Moshiri agreeing.

I’m just talking about Bielsa vs Dyche. The media are already saying Bielsa is first choice, Moshiri is obviously behind that. Dyche is clearly Bills choice.

Who knows with Moshiri maybe he’ll do a 180 because Dyche does a good interview. But if Moshiri wanted Bielsa, I don’t think the rumours of $1m a month for the whole coaching staff is going to be a stumbling block. It’ll be other things like transfers in and out.

I wasn’t comparing the club, or even the fan base to Liverpool mate. I was responding to one specific point where the poster was saying the way Leeds fans felt about bielsa was unlike anything that any other fans felt about their manager. My point was that fans of other clubs are always coming on here saying ‘X is the best thing that’s ever happened to our club, we’d have him back tomorrow, enjoy him while you’ve got him because he’ll be managing Real Madrid soon’ etc, this is nothing new to us.
