It's hardly a shock that were looking for a manager. These phonecalls could've been done on the quiet at least a month ago.

No he's a cult figure, not just because of the fact we were winning more, but the way he completely transformed the club, from the way we were playing, his whole ethos and personality, he was absolutely loved, still is. Watching us actually became fun again. Like I said, many fans would have been happy to keep him even if it meant relegation, I'm not saying other fans haven't felt similar, but he is a very special manager-the likes of Newells fans would come and watch us play just to see a team managed by him perform.
He wouldn't work everywhere, he needs a club totally invested in him though and don't think he'd be a good fit for you right now. If you went down, maybe.

He’s a romantic loves working for a club with a big passionate fan that has fallen on hard times. He doesn’t like doing it the easy way.

Bielsa is not the kind of manager we need right now. His football was entertaining because the games provided plenty of goals, but Leeds showed they could win a game 4-0 one week and next week lose 0-4. He`s gonna cost a fortune and cause a lot of changes in the backroom staff which would take time to settle down, time we don`t have to waste.

I don`t think Big Sam would come back, so I`d like Dyche to have a go. His football wont be easy on the eye but relegation fights are not really won by poor teams trying to play pretty football.
