football manager stuff here but could he convince Pep to let us have Phillips for half a season. He knows Bielsa-ball, he isn't getting gametime at City and Pep had made a comment about his fitness.

Fella’s practically a walking Big Mac at this point, he isn’t going to be able to come here and start playing murderball. Again, would be a different conversation if we were having it at the start of pre-season.

We have to be pragmatic with the position we’re in, that is if we’re even arsed about trying to stay up and aren’t currently planning for the Championship next season.

He is absolutely not going to adapt his style, that is the issue. He’s 68 years old and been managing for 30 years, he isn’t about to change now. None of his positive attributes lend themselves to taking over a slow, feeble, unfit squad of players with bad attitudes with 18 games left of a season. This would be a completely different conversation if we were having it at the end of the season as we prepare for the Championship.
Nah not having it. I would be amazed if he took the job, breaking all his own rules in doing so. IF he does, he would know he would have to make some adaptations ahead of getting what he really wants in the summer.

If he signs, Moshiri will have effectively handed over full control of everything to him and on his terms.
All over this to be honest, it’s exactly what we need at the top of the club and what we are protesting for more or less, and that’s why Bill won’t want him anywhere near the place.

I’m also All for him lobbing a hand grenade into that dressing room, running the kneecaps of the gang of slackers and punting anyone who doesn’t meet his standards and rebuilding from there - it’s exactly what we need from a footballing perspective.

These lazy tossers have had to too cushy for too long.

They threw their best mate Frank under the bus, don’t think El Loco will tolerate that.

The fans also need to accept, that things may get better before they get worse too.

haha, yea, It's pretty poor but up until Bournmouth it was doing really well.
It can do well.
It really wasn't. Earlier in the season we were getting away with being a bit dodgy at the back, then we stopped getting away with it. There has literally been no change in the overall performances, teams just stopped hitting the woodwork and started scoring.
