Marcelo Bielsa

I hope we got a flight for his translator, or these face to face talks are going to be a bit pointless.

I imagine a job interview with Bielsa goes something like:

Walks into moshiri’s office.

Opens the industrial rucksack he’s brought with him. Inside its contents are tools, pliers, ropes, car battery etc.

He hands Moshiri the bag.

He pulls out some cable ties from his back pocket and binds himself to the chair.

“Convince me to manage you”. He says.

Dyche would hardly be enamoured to take the job now if the Bielsa talks fail. They can sort terms surely, but the way it's going Bielsa may postpone a final decision until after the window closes.

Promises about what might get done on deadline day are worth nothing unless the player(s) are wearing the shirt.

Either that, or he just takes the job being much less optimistic about keeping us up and they plan for next season in The Championship as the most likely outcome.

No matter who gets it, their hands are tied without a couple of signings.

I'd near rather have a season in the championship with Bielsa in charge than hand Dyche a 4 year contract.
Also think Bielsa would have more pulling power than Dyche and in taking the job would want assurances over his power within the club and hold those above to account.
Big Red would just be happy with his biggest ever job and feel like he would come wagging his tail.
But Jesus the biggest threat to the club right now is staying up and something tells me ginger bollocks might give us a better chance.
Tuchel 6 month contract 10m english pounds please!!!

…but we don’t have to have either. It’s like choosing a broken arm over a broken leg. We are better than that, the focus should not be on those two failures, it’s a big world out there.
