Repeating myself here, but there is overall more athleticism here than Bielsa's Leeds squad.

Of those linked I’d much prefer the bloke at West Brom, I’d even prefer Davide Ancelotti even though he clearly doesn’t tick all of those boxes.

No idea why the club are trying to entice the Managers of two teams who were actually worst than Everton last season. Let that sink in, Everton want two Managers who performed worst than a dire Everton team last season.

Good points yes. But the timing of it and current position makes it a lot more difficult.
Bielsa has had a lot of good seasons in management so I wouldn't base it on all last season either.

Sorry, thats just wrong. We had a few hammerings from top teams when we put kids out. Marsch did ANYTHING but steady the ship. We sacked Bielsa when we where on 23 points after 22 games, in 15th place - 6 points above the relegation zone. At the end of the season, we stayed up on the final day with an away win, whilst relying on Burnley losing at home to Newcastle. Which happened, against the odds. If you call that steadying the ship then we can just agree to disagree.

I don’t trust the daily mail at the best of times but to print an old photo of a football manager and claim it’s today when it’s , by your reckoning, minimum what 18 months ago ? Would be pretty ballsy even by British media standards

Godfrey, Patterson and Onana are for sure Bielsa type players. Mykolenko will be benched rightfully so. Honestly Godfrey as a wingback is great he’s so fast and aggressive just like the way Ancelotti played.

9 of his 10 club jobs have lasted less than 2 years, his average length of service in club management is probably about 9 months, and he’s about to turn 68. He could not be less of a long term manager if he tried.
