That's possibly why he really isn't the best choice for a club that is run the way we are.Was he not clever when he went to Lazio or Lille then? Has intelligence been a very late addition to his skill set? Evidently he’s been happy enough to sign deals at loads of clubs in his career, but then it seems to go south quite quickly with pretty alarming regularity.
The board making assurances and the board actually doing what they’ve assured people they’ll do are not the same thing. Ancelotti quite clearly did not sign up to manage Everton believing that we were going to be 2nd in the league at Christmas and give him josh king on loan to ensure we stayed there. Benitez did not come here believing that he was only going to get £1.7m to spend etc etc. I just find it properly mad that people seem to believe that after royally peeing off some of the biggest names in football over the last 6/7 years, the board are going to suddenly draw the line at upsetting bielsa.
Gravesen?Deffo. Hes been at finch farm for the past month.View attachment 202347
Think Joyce has been out the picture for a while with Everton stuff.Incredible insight from Joyce here

It's better Matty stays here where we can keep an eye on himWould leave GOT?
Yeah that’s exactly what I was saying. My concerns aren’t about his managerial ability, they’re about his suitability for the job. He seems to share those concerns, but I can fully imagine the board convincing him he’s wrong before proving him right very quickly. That's possibly why he really isn't the best choice for a club that is run the way we are.
imagine the worryIt's better Matty stays here where we can keep an eye on him
Godfrey, Holgate and Patterson....plus BranthwaiteGreat chance for some of the lads in the age group teams, if they've got the physique and attitude to play his way they could be in the first team within weeks.
Will any of our current recognised defenders make it into our defence?
Didnt someone say those pictures were old and not related to Everton at all?Bielsa must close to signing, thinking about that picture of him at the airport flying into London, in this day and age there is no need to physically travel anywhere just for “talks” we have high quality video technology, although Bill prefers fax,
Plus the guy behind him had 4 suit cases, that’s not a man just coming for a chat. He’s got all his trackies in there!
