Can't see him keeping us up - obviously if we are in the Championship we should be happy to have him - given up already ?

I’d agree with you, but I would extend that to not giving a hoot if they have had some connection with Liverpool FC.Could not give a hoot if a manager is a socialist, communist, Tory, or an anarchist, as long as they do the job.
Anyone who does is weird.
I'm still of the mind that this will end in disaster, but a few benefits that Bielsa would bring and Dyche would not:
- He's hugely respected and would attract players from around the world, even to the Championship if the worst happened.
- The standards he would set would give us a good platform for the future - even if he only stayed for 2/3 seasons.
- We'd have a manager with a philosophy and clear identity for the first time in ages.
As long as they do the job!I’d agree with you, but I would extend that to not giving a hoot if they have had some connection with Liverpool FC.
Thats what I think. Arrived after a long flight yesterday, and has already said no to the job. Could have just said that on the phone and not wasted his time.Might be true but just sounds like complete guesswork
Would just like to add that whilst I’m not scouse this part is wildly irrelevant and has no place on this part of the forum.
What absolute horsesh!T - the values of our manager are a key part of his make-up. Just as if he had a history of racial or homophobic abuse he'd be dead to us. A Tory 'me-first' attitude is unacceptable at this club.
Give up on our values then give up on our club.
You’re not even a scouser you numpty.
