Personally love the idea myself.
He clearly cares and wanted to onow the academy and u23 set up, which we’ve been crying over for years about how few people come through our youth set up.

Why we didn’t do this after Bournemouth, I’ll never know.

So basically if the club was run anyway professionally they would have reached out to the likes of bielsa during the world cup break and if he was saying he needed x weeks work on the training ground we’d have known it was either pull the trigger on lampard after bournemouth or bielsa simply couldn’t be an option.

Instead we’ve dragged it out until a couple of days before the end of the transfer window - a window in which we simply have to add to the squad else we’re going down - a proper shambles.

The only logical explaination is Dyche given only 6 months contract.

There is no way Dyche would take a six month contract knowing he was gone in June, even if he kept us up.
Would he be allowed to sign players or would they be players Bielsa wanted?

I can't imagine any manager agreeing to work under such an arrangement.
In practice it would mean asking Baines and Tait to relegate us.

We'll be paying about £6m in Dyche to buy out his contract in June anyway.

He’d have asked too much of the board, too many questions they didn’t like and push them in a direction they don’t want to go in.
