Marcelo Bielsa

I wanted Bielsa over Dyche for the simple fact, we had Benitez who set up the teams defensively and "hard to beat" and we got the results we deserved.

In order to win games, we have to play to win not consolidated.

The argument of "we don't have the players" is so lazy because Bielsa worked with Leeds squad which is miles worse than us on paper but the difference is the application of tactics and standards Bielsa expects.

I like Dyche and I will back him up but I just feel we have played straight into the boring line and missed the boat on real change to this squad, club and board.

I think bielsa taking over u21 is a bright idea. We will be perfectly poise to have a first team clear out if we get relegated and still maintain a great youth pool well schooled in his philosophy once he take over. But I can’t imagine how awkward it will be when Dyche and Bielsa met in the hallways. No club in the history of football had such arrangement in place.

Shame, would have liked to see Bielsa back in the Prem.

He may well have taken you down (as might anyone else in fairness), but that's not necessarily a bad thing in many ways. If ever a club could do with a relegation its Everton. Give the club a chance to reset. As it stands, its become the natural home for any mercenary player who isn't good enough to play for a top 6 side but wants top 6 wages and the club desperately needs to shed wages and get rid of a huge chunk of the squad. Relegation would give you the contractual wiggle room to clear house of previous mistakes. Your, at best, borderline when it comes to FFP. Moshiri can't chuck anymore cash in and your being bled dry by average players on massive contracts. Look at the Deloitte money league that came out a couple of weeks ago - pay attention to the wages/turnover ration at Everton compared to other comparable clubs. Only club on the list that is worse than you for wages is PSG..........

Wow cheers for the heads up Jim, we had no idea about all this.

Imagine trying to get the best out of a team in the bottom 3,
When your manager is going in 6 months and the next fella is in the building looking over your shoulder?
Strikes me as a shithouse move, he pulls the reins from behind the scenes,
Doesn't get blamed if we go down.
Then comes galloping into town like a hero to save us next season.
No wonder he didn't get the job.
Imagine if the first team manager had done really well where would lat have left us.

I asked you a question before. You called someone from Halewood a balloon and said they weren't scouse . And went on about some nonsense about colour of bins. If I'm not mistaken you live nearer to Scotland than Liverpool. I live 8 miles from Liverpool Town centre and you presume to tell people from Halewood they aren't scouse. You haven't got a clue about the boroughs of Liverpool so just stick to talking about Everton.

Hi mate, I've been out for a run, you seem deeply upset to be called a wool here and that is concerning. I don't know why you're asking where I'm from since I've never once called myself scouse and everyone on here knows where I live.

God speed, hope you get that purple bin one day, I believe in you.

"town centre" ?????? This City has earned it's right to be called a City a million times over.

Halewood is pretty much exactly 8 miles from the City centre by the way........

Shame about Bielsa. I was all in as of last night. Anyone else we all don't really want that you'd like me to go all in on?
Everyone from Liverpool calls it town. We saying going in to town not in to the city.

You're scouse mate.

You just dont live in the city boundaries is all.

Greater Liverpool = the city of Liverpool, Kirkby, Huyton and Halewood. That's scouseland.
