Liked the idea of Bielsa as our manager initially but after that U21 plan has been revealed today he has just outed himself as a clown. I mean who does he think he is?

“His methods”? Talks like his methods are some pioneering philosophy that will conquer football when in reality they nearly lead Leeds to the drop last season.

He clearly cares and wanted to onow the academy and u23 set up, which we’ve been crying over for years about how few people come through our youth set up.

Halewood is pretty much exactly 8 miles from the City centre by the way........

Yep, if we have gone from Bielsa to Dyche that tells us that the club don’t have a footballing philosophy that they want to pursue and bring about the changes on the pitch.

It would be madness to have him here whilst Dyche is the manager. This isn't "create competition for a position", this is "hey, your replacement is waiting behind you".

Just still can't wrap my head around the options of Biesla or Dyche being the choices. Just such literal polar opposite styles of play.

I wanted Bielsa over Dyche for the simple fact, we had Benitez who set up the teams defensively and "hard to beat" and we got the results we deserved.

In order to win games, we have to play to win not consolidated.

The argument of "we don't have the players" is so lazy because Bielsa worked with Leeds squad which is miles worse than us on paper but the difference is the application of tactics and standards Bielsa expects.

I like Dyche and I will back him up but I just feel we have played straight into the boring line and missed the boat on real change to this squad, club and board.

£6m to sit on a bucket in games whilst his teams defensively wide open is just nuts also we don’t have players with the energy to play his style.

His defences are worse that Bobby Martinez and that’s saying something
